"Ralph Bown makes only a few instruments per year and
very few of them ever reach the U.S. So it’s always
a pleasure to find a preowned example. This one came to us
from Martin Simpson whom it was made for. If you’ve
never considered a Baritone you should, it’s a wonderful
change to be able to play in low registers and a capo brings
you right back up to standard pitch. So they offer great versatility
and can be truly inspiring. You can tune the strings in a
standard relationship but down at B or C or use any number
of open tunings. The Amazon Rosewood on this one boasts a
beautiful reddish-brown hue and the Sitka top is very straight
