Kevin Chubbuck Biography

Chubbuck Guitars is a limited production, one man shop specializing in hollowbody electric and steel string acoustic guitars.

My luthiery experience includes three years building for the Santa Cruz Guitar Company in Santa Cruz, California.  I was involved in all aspects of construction, including the bracing, carving and voicing of over 150 tops.

Currently I work with Bill Tippin of Tippin Guitars in the beautiful coastal town of Marblehead, Massachusetts.   I’ve been building and repairing at Bill’s shop for the past three years.  The Tippin Guitar shop provides full restoration services along with Bill’s steel string acoustic guitars.

Models Offered: All, Rogue Acoustic, Hollowbody PLTA. We offer them in stock and by custom order.
