Consignment Service

We offer consignment services for high quality pre-owned instruments. We have a large customer base of active buyers of high-end guitars and a reputation for selecting the finest instruments from the best builders. We offer the advantages of our extensive promotion as well as our well-known website, which receives over 10,000 unique visitors every week. In addition to the United States, we have customers worldwide and ship instruments to the UK, Japan, Italy, Germany and France on a regular basis. We also match you instrument against our DreamCatcher list of customers who are waiting for specific instruments to become available.

Our consignment commissions rate is 18%

The commission is deducted from the proceeds upon the sale of the instrument. This commission covers all of our sales and marketing efforts on your behalf as well as the credit card fees which are quite common.

There is a $100 evaluation/setup fee which we instituted as a means of keeping our commissions lower and which covers Evaluation, Inspection, Cleaning & Re-Stringing, Studio Quality Photography, Movie File Creation, Recording by Grammy Award Winner Al Petteway, Comments and Web Page Creation, which enable us to present your guitar in a professional manner. This fee is due upon receipt of the guitar for consignment and is not refundable.
