Here is the quintessential Traugott Model R that defined the sought-after Traugott sound which is defined by it's extreme clarity and perfect balance. This like-new beauty is just over 10 years old which gives it the benefit of time and maturity that has it sounding like a million bucks. There is nothing like well-aged German Spruce to give you the kind of sound we all dream of. The Brazilian is classic Traugott, wonderful tight grain but a bit dramatic as well. The tone is dreamy with each string being as tonally complete as you can imagine. 1997 Traugott R - Acoustic Guitar Player Reviews

Player Reviews:

"I absolutely love this Traugott R. The voice is full and rich with Jeff's trademark clarity and balance that are so admired by players. This one has a distinct advantage of time that has matured it into a truly special Traugott that is very responsive, warm and powerful. There nothing like age on a Spruce top to make for magical tone. It seems as though you can do everything on this guitar, it's happy to play any style or technique, it pushes you play your very best as well. The Brazilian is stunning and very tight grained and the German top has a gorgeous patina to it. The playability is absolutely spot on, something Jeff is also known for. If you are seeking a Traugott you won't find a better sounding one and it's absolutely like new only better thanks to the aged Spruce top." - Paul Heumiller
