It has an incredibly focused sound. Evenly balanced with a tight responsive bass, transparent mids and clear, ringing highs. The G1 has the ability to reproduce complex chords with piano-like clarity, while articulating each individual note in fingerstyle patterns. While primarily a fingerstyle guitar, it is also superb for light strumming and acoustic jazz." This particular G1 is sublime, crafted from old Brazilian Rosewood with a bit of dramatic sapwood on the back and sides. The Alpine top is master grade and adds to the definition and articulation within the rich voice. Michael Greenfield achieves wonderous trebles strings that are lyrical and weighty, an attribute that makes his guitars special.
