Here we have a custom 8 String Concert guitar from Thomas Rodriguez. This guitar is crafted to the highest standards using beautiful Indian Rosewood and Spruce. The Gilbert tuners insure perfect accuracy on all strings. The current setup is for 2 low bass strings below standard tuning on the top 6 strings. So you can tune the low strings to C and D offering two notes below standard for bass notes or experiment using many other possibilities. This is an extraordinary instrument that allows the player to arrange and perform unique inversions and wonderful bass movements not possible on the standard six string guitar.
