What makes this guitar so unique is the 'curly' Brazilian Rosewood. This is a rare figure for Brazilian, we've only ever seen a handful of guitars made with such wood. It is not only beautiful to behold with the eyes, but it has an amazing tone as well. I suspect the grain has some effect on the voice of the instrument, which is warm, full and huge. The 12 fret design puts the bridge in the prime position to really push this stunning Adirondack top. This a great flatpicker that is equally adept at fingerpicking and provides wide fingerstyle spacings at the nut and saddle. If you are after a big sounding fingerstyle guitar or a powerful D, this is for you.

Player Reviews:

"We often get asked for a big sound in a fingerstyle guitar, here's the answer. A real D size guitar but with wide nut and saddle, the classic combo of Brazilian/Adirondack and a 12 fret configuration to make the most of it. This is one serious axe." - Paul Heumiller

"This is an extraordinary guitar with beautiful curly Brazilian rosewood on the back and sides and a 12-fret neck which puts the bridge right in the sweet spot on the top. The bass in this dreadnought sized guitar is big and full without any sign of muddiness. It works equally well for fingerstyle or flatpicking and cannot be beat for looks." - Al Petteway
