This is an attractive Steinegger jumbo handmade in Portland, Oregon. Steinegger guitars are owned by the Everly Brothers and several of the Beatles. It's a guitar that does a lot on -- fingerstyle, single lines, strumming. The combination of walnut back and sides and spruce top adds up to a full and round sound that still maintains clarity. This is a boomer! Big strong bass like a Dread, and trebles that can really keep up. This would be a great versatile guitar for the player who wants to do it all.
Update! Builder Rob Steinegger is extending the lifetime warranty to the buyer.

"This is a big, strong guitar. I loved playing the blues on it. The bass is tremendously satisfying and the trebles put out as well. This is a big, booming guitar that remains clear and articulate. Great all arounder here!" - Paul Heumiller
"If you like a guitar that is lightly finished so the body really vibrates, this may be for you. The tone in the bass is rich while the mids are clear and uncluttered." - Al Petteway
"For a jumbo, this guitar feels pleasantly light and comfortable. The Satin finish feels nicely "broken in." The tone is balanced and the volume is fairly loud. There's a nice, fat warmth for fingerpicking and a nice clarity for strumming. I particularly like how fat the trebles are -- no matter how hard you pick them they hold up well." - Al Schlimm
