This is a fine German guitar from Joe Striebel, a great builder that we're glad to represent. The quilted mahogany sides and back are deep and stunning, the bear claw spruce top is a nice variation to the status quo. This is one of those instruments that does many things extremely well -- it's warm without giving up any sparkle, punchy yet sweet. The short scale feels great as well.

Player Reviews:

"This is the first Striebel we've seen with his armrest Bevel design, it makes it's extremely comfortable. The voice is excellent I feel like I can play all styles on this one." - Paul Heumiller

"I like the clear woody sound of this guitar and the high strings are sweet and rich. Nice for fingerstyle or flatpicking." - Al Petteway

"Gorgeous quilted mahogany sides and back, cool bear claw on the sitka top, great playability... this is an extremely comfortable guitar to hold and play. I particularly liked it for strumming or finger picking. The former yields a nice, sparkly jangle on the top end (with no harshness), the latter gives up very warm and cozy sounds that also invite the player to dig in a bit. " - Al Schlimm
