Historic doesn't begin to say it. This baby has been played and played and played. A museum piece she ain't. But trust me when I say that every scar and repair is a beautiful part of her charm. She's outlived many, many players, and will likely outlive the rest of us. This 1928 Martin 00-28 has had many, many repairs but offers a player a chance to afford one from the 1920s. See the condition statement below for details. If you dig Willie Nelson's guitar, "Trigger", you'll love this. Priced for it's condition.

"While we mostly sell pristine, gorgeous instruments here, I personally love to see an old beat up guitar that you know has made a lifetime of music. This one has probably been in some amazing jams and held by hundreds of players. It's admittedly a beat up old Martin, but that's ok in my book. Priced for it's condition it offers someone a chance to own a 1928 00-28 without a beating from the wife (LOL)...." - Paul Heumiller
"If only guitars could talk. This one would have some stories to tell. It's been through the mill and has had many repairs since it's birth in 1928. The condition of this guitar determines the low price. It's still very playable though and can be a great conversation piece. Compared to the $40,000.00 you'd spend for one in good condition, this is a bargain." - Al Petteway
"Wow, the guys who built this guitar had no idea that they were merely months from The Great Depression. How's that for a legacy? She's lived a long, long life and she's got the wrinkles to prove it, but her small-bodied tone is wonderfully intact -- sweet when fingerpicked lightly, wonderfully snarky when you dig in with your nails for some rags or blues. She's held up very well and still has many years to go." - Al Schlimm
