This wonderful creation from David Eichelbaum is an 8 string based on his Grand Auditorium design. The 3rd and 4th strings have octave strings like a 12 string would. The idea being that you get a 12 string quality but the guitar is much easier to play and allows the flexibility of having single line melodies and bass notes to go with the double courses. This GA is crafted from stunning Cocobolo Rosewood and Master Grade Sitka with tons of silking. There's an Abalone border on the top and back so the beauty shimmers like the voice.

"For years players have taken some of the octave strings off a 12 string to create 9 and 8 string versions. The problem is 12 strings are way over braced so the sound is usually not great. This guitar on the other hand sounds amazing and is super easy to play. Because only the 2 middle strings are doubled you can barre with ease and David was able to brace it lighter so it has superb tone. This is the perfect guitar to add some color to your stable." - Paul Heumiller
"This is so much fun to play. You get the sound of a 12-string without the extra tension and wide neck. Brilliant idea and great sounding box too." - Al Petteway
