Here we have a rare preowned Mario Beauregard SJ. Mario is one of the most successful luthiers in Canada and learned his craft in Ervin Somogyi's shop. His craftsmanship and tone set him apart. This SJ offers a wonderful combination of power and beauty of voice. This Mario Beauregard SJ has an unusual combination of tonewoods. The back & sides are premium African Blackwood with perfectly straight grain. The top is master grade Italian Spruce with silky galore. So it's no surprise that the voice is magical. Rich, sensitive trebles and full, dark bass notes. This guitar is very responsive to the light touch. To complete this guitar is a stunning Maple/Abalone/MOP rosette, Snakewood bindings and a bound and bordered Fingerboard. Just stunning in every way.
