Ron Pinkham's guitars always impress us. He knows tone and his voice is compelling, powerful and complete. This Maple Dread is simply a cannon. The trebles fire across the room and the bass is strong. The overall voice is much fuller and richer than you might expect from Maple and it sounds great flatpicked, strummed and fingerpicked. The woods are top notch and extremely pretty and Ron's fit and finish is always superb. If you are open to a less traditional dread, you might just find yourself a gem here....
