This wonderful 1990 Humphrey Millenium comes to us from National Fingerpicking Champ Todd Hallawell. He had Master Luthier Ervin Somogyi go over the guitar recently so it's in perfect order. The french polish has been freshened so the guitar looks young again, but the voice clearly is matured to perfection under the hands of a master player. Every note leaps out of this Humphrey Millenium with clarity and power. The magic of Humphrey's Millenium design is that the sloped soundboard and elevated fingerboard cause the strings to pull at a steeper angle. This one features his Radial Bracing. The result is greater volume and easy access to the highest frets. Even with Tom Humphrey's passing his Millenium will forever live as one of the greatest guitar designs and this is a supreme example.
