Jeff Traugott is considered by many to be among the handful of top builders in the world. He's earned this respect with his tone first and foremost. Many, many times we've handed clients a Traugott only to see their jaw drop in amazement and to hear them say "I've never heard anything like this!". By using only the absolute finest woods, and his well-honed voicing, Jeff works wonders. This special Traugott Model R, 000, is a rare one in African Blackwood and German. The African Blackwood is some of the best we've ever seen, it is very well quartered and has lovely sapwood in the center of the back. This is one very expressive guitar, with round, rich Treble notes that are the Traugott hallmark and full and proportioned bass that perfectly fills out the voice.
