A beautiful, ergonomically crafted instrument from Michihiro Matsuda. The Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and European Spruce top make for a guitar with well balanced, shimmering tone. This wonderfully ornamented has hand inlaid spalted maple in the headplate, purflings framing the fingerboard, an elegant partial rosette and a sculpted bridge.
This Matsuda M1 is delightfully playable. An excellent guitar for fingerstyle play, featuring Michihiro's trademark ergonomic neck heel carve along with an artistic side soundport executed in Matsuda style. This port blends a sharp corner with a smooth waiste, accented by an exposed interior brace of Maple. Everywhere you look on this instrument you find art, passion and music.
