Lance McCollum built some of the very finest baritone guitars ever made. For those who want a baritone that is nearly effortless to play, this is the one. The 1 3/4" neck is extremely comfortable, and doesn't require absurd hand strength to grip. Not all baritones have enough clarity in the low end to allow for playing deep complex chord voicings down in the first position -- but this McCollum in Madagascar Rosewood and Italian Spruce lets you hear every note -- even close intervals. Another fine instrument from the late great Lance McCollum!

"Lance McCollum built more baritones then most other makers in the world. It was one of his favorites to make and to play. His 27.5" scale is on the shorter side of baritones and is very accessible for any player. This beauty also has a slim neck at just 1 3/4" and 2 3/16" in the right hand. So it feels a lot more like a normal scale guitar. The woods are superb as you can see in the photos, and that makes for impeccable tone! We miss Lance, but his work lives on and this one will make a lot of music for years to come for some lucky person." - Paul Heumiller
"McCollum baritone guitars are just plain fun to play. It's like having bass accompaniment built in. This one is easy to play and very responsive. I tuned it in standard starting on A, but it could probably go to Bb easily." - Al Petteway
