An incredible sounding and playing classical guitar hand built and signed by Masaru Kohno himself in 1989. The projection and playability of this Kohno Professional-R guitar is outstanding. Incredibly loud, rich tone comes forth from the Indian Rosewood and Spruce body. The Professional-R is a concert grade guitar on par with the 1a instruments from the Spanish makers. The guitar community lost Masaru in 1998, but he lives on through his wonderful instruments and this guitar is a testament to his mastery of the craft.

Player Reviews:

"So many players in our shop are surprised at just how easily and accurately Kohno guitars play. it is the hallmark of Masaru Kohno's design, along with clear and vibrant tone. This Kohno Pro-R guitar has both. The neck feels great and notes fret easily and project across the room with energy. The well opened Spruce top is a joy to have at your command. You can coax mellow beauty and vibrant power with equal ease and expression. Just a treat to play." - Paul Heumiller
