This great sounding 1967 Jose Rubio classical has all the wonderful character of a well played, welled loved instrument. The mid-range is very prominent, and the overall tone is alive and powerful, with very fast attack. David 'Jose' Rubio spent years immersed in the Spanish Tradition and made guitars used by Julian Bream and other prominent players.
As an older guitar it has a good amount of finish wear and expert repairs completed somewhere in its past. It is currently stable and ready for years more of music to flow through it. This Brazilian/Spruce Rubio guitar was made in New York and is dated and signed by the maker. A wonderful vintage Rubio with plenty more to say.

- Condition: Fair. Structurally solid, but many repairs. Several repaired top cracks, pickup hole plugged, finish worn off in two areas. All work done well, guitar is sound and stable and plays great with low action.
