Straight from Oklahoma comes this incredible John Mayes Grand Concert. Red Cedar top, Wenge back and sides, and African Blackwood fretboard and appointments. This guitar is a knockout in terms of playability, quality of workmanship, and TONE. The sound of this guitar is extremely well rounded and defined. Nice and snappy with lots of harmonic overtones and rich bass. This guitar sounds great with a pick but really sings when played with the fingers. A hard guitar to put down!

Player Reviews:

"I love the look of this guitar from it's Wenge body topped with dark Cedar to the Celtic Knot rosette emblem, it's a looker. But what I like most are the rich, full treble strings. They make melodies leap out of the guitar with a woodwind quality. A fingerstyle gem..." - Paul Heumiller

"The wood on this guitar is really beautiful. The neck is comfortable and the action is low and fast. It has a nice midrange response that would be good for fingerstyle." - Al Petteway
