This is a Bourgeois JOMC made for the Winter NAMM show in 2009 and numbered #9 of 10. This Jumbo OM Cutaway has all the best materials as you would expect in a show guitar. The Brazilian rosewood is dark and rich, the Adirondack top is superb with even grain. Together they give this Bourgeois guitar a punchy voice with full bass and articulate trebles. The 15 1/2" body adds big bass response to go along with the OM style projection. This guitar strums as well as it fingerpicks making it a very capable gigging guitar as well.

"I've long been a fan of Jumbo OM or 0000 guitars. They have the balance of an OM but with a bit more bass to drive music that needs that. They also strum up better than an OM thanks to the bigger box. This one is a top of the line Bourgeois built for NAMM and featuring Dana's best woods. Don't underestimate how much extra builders put into show guitars that are seen by thousands of players. This one is special." - Paul Heumiller
