Diego Huerga is an Argentinean luthier specializing in archtop and flattop guitars that look as beautiful as they sound. Here we have his Beleza Magica model flattop in Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood. There are wonderful touches that aren't typical of American-made guitars that give his work an exotic flair, such as the unusual rosette, smoky edge-burst, sculpted bridge, and trapezoidal neck heel. But this guitar isn't just a show pony, it's got a strong voice with good low-mid punch, lots of midrange presence, and shimmering highs. A fine example of south-of-the-equator lutherie.

2007 Huerga Belleza Magica - Acoustic Guitar Player Reviews

Player Reviews:

"Diego Huerga's guitars have a distictive Latin flavor that make for something a little different and very special. It's really nice to see guitars built from another geographic and cultural perspective. One thing that's universal though, is great tone, and this guitar sounds terrific in either hemispere!" - Paul Heumiller

"Nice midrange response, perfect for ensemble playing. The neck is on the chunky side, which is a big plus to many players." - Al Petteway
