Here we have a Diego Huerga Belleza Luz with a rare "Lucky 12" Sitka Spruce top and deep, chocolatey Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The "Lucky 12" is from a sinker log that was preserved under water for decades before being pulled back up to the surface. Sinker wood typically makes for fantastic tonewood, and this one is certainly no exception. The beautifully bearclawed top is quick to react, with great responsiveness for the fingerstylist and exceptional headroom for the picker and strummer. Diego has a unique architecture and style to his instruments that will be sure to have you discovering new little nuances every time you sit down to play.

"I love getting in instruments from different building traditions to see how they compare to one another. This Belleza Luz by Diego Huerga is a great example of South American building - lightweight, quick and alive, with a sweet and melodic voice. It has a surprisingly refreshing feel and sound for a larger bodied guitar, and I'm enjoying playing this one more and more each time I take it down from the wall. It's an instrument that makes you feel renewed for having played it." - Paul Heumiller
"I like that most of the weight on this guitar is in the neck. The body is nice and lightweight, great for player comfort. This one would be great for both group playing sessions and personal music alike." - Al Petteway
