The guitars of Manuel Contreras from the '60s and '70s are legendary and for good reason. They offer that deep, warm and powerful spanish sound. As a bonus this one also plays beautiful over the entire fingerboard, all you get is clear, articulate notes. The sustain and projection are wonderful and expected since the Brazilian Rosewood is top notch. A rare find indeed.

Player Reviews:
"One of those really special instruments from Manuel Contreras Sr. Every note is full of life and character. The Spruce top has nearly 40 years of maturity in it and is very vibrant and quick to response. The bass is full and powerful and the trebles clear and passionate. A wonderful Contreras in every way." - Paul Heumiller
