This is a collector series MKS model from Nashville guitar builder Paul McGill. Many top players have been playing McGills for years, including Muriel Anderson, Earl Klugh, Jim Stafford, and others. This guitar? More than outstanding; a true rock star.

The dramatically-figured Ziricote and Bearclaw German Spruce lend a stunning backdrop for McGill's gorgeous aesthetic, from the asymetrical Ebony pyramid bridge to the Bubinga headplate and dazzling Abalone trim package. Below the hood, of course, this MKS is another beast entirely. This is the kind of tone you wish your all your guitars had: lush, robust, dynamically projective, optimized for the fingerstylist's nuanced arrangements.

2003 McGill, Paul MKS - Acoustic Guitar Player Reviews

Player Reviews:

"I'm almost speechless playing this guitar. I could be perfectly happy with this one for years to come. It has a complete sound, rich with overtones and vigorousenergy. The Ziricote back and sides gives the MKS an exotic beauty, and the figured woods and abalone tastefully adorn the top and headstock.
"
- Paul Heumiller

"This is a great-sounding guitar with a perfect balance across the strings. You can tell that the builder has been building classicals for many years because every range on the neck is powerful and even. This guitar is one of those that just pushes the sound out in front of it." - Al Petteway
