SOLD - Circa Guitars, John Slobod, 2008 Slobod Dreadnought: This powerhouse Dread was crafted by John Slobod from stunning Beeswing figured Mahogany and topped with Adirondack Red Spruce. This proven wood combination is similar to that used on the classic D-18s only here the Mahogany has the rare Beeswing figure. John's voicing was perfect on this guitar giving the top great projection and clarity, single note lines sing out while strumming fills the room with a resounding boom chuck. SOLD - Circa Guitars, John Slobod, 2008 Slobod 00 12-fret: Our own Al Petteway plays one of John Slobod's Circa Guitars. We met John a few years back and are just now getting our first one due to his busy schedule. But it was worth the wait for the exquisite 00 crafted from the finest figured Koa and Adirondack Red Spruce. John styled this beauty with 42 style top trim and a headstock torch but left the fingerboard natural for a more modern look. The tone is powerful and clear. You hear everything you put into this guitar and it fires notes across the room. The 00 shape is very easy to hold and the playability is outstanding. This is the first of many Slobod's for us here at Dream Guitars. This instrument features:
