A Terz guitar is a short scale, small bodied instrument designed to be tuned up a 3rd or 4th depending on the scale length offering the player a completely new voice. It's sort of the opposite of a baritone guitar. This little beauty is crafted from rare English Yew wood and has a complex and colorful sound that is as sweet as a ripe mango. There is abundant overtones and sympathetic vibrations that create a colorful reverb and sustain beyond compare. Owner Paul Heumiller fell in love with this one and has nabbed it for his own.
