New Circa Guitars 7/8ths Dread - Slope D Acoustic Guitar

John Slobod, builder of Circa Guitars, has made many instruments with Julius Borges and Dana Bourgeois and is one of the modern luthiers building guitars as good or better than the prewar giants. Here is this 7/8th Dread, John has designed a versatile guitar that can handle both flatpicking and fingerstyle duties with ease and is more comfortable to hold. The Cocobolo and Adirondack body put forth a strong voice, at once clear and warm. There is nothing this guitar cannot do. The craftsmanship is impeccable, something else Slobod is known for. These tend to fly out the door, so don't miss your chance.

Dream Guitars Player's Review:
"John is not only a tremendously gifted builder but a great guy. So there is extra mojo in his guitars I think. They just want to make music and they inspire the player. I am certain I will own a Slobod one day and Al Petteway uses one regularly. You just can't find a better modern take on the vintage designs." - Paul Heumiller

"John Slobod is in my top five luthier list. This smaller bodied dreadnought is an amazingly versatile guitar that can go either way. It's a wonderful guitar to flatpick, but it's voice is also perfect for fingerstyle. If you want one guitar that will do it all and sound the best at doing it, this might be the one." - Al Petteway

Another Satisfied Dream Guitars Customer:
"I felt compelled to update you on my Sinker Redwood/African Blackwood Crescendo (Al Petteway Signature model). I have been playing it exclusively for 3 months now. I started out in DADGAD and then switched to Standard tuning. At this point I still find myself amazed at this instrument. After a couple weeks in Standard, it really started to open up. At times it sounds like I am playing with amplification - the projection is almost startling. Yet even with that projection, the tonal quality persists - there is absolutely no hint of breaking up - and I can get pretty heavy-fingered at times." - DS
