SOLD - 2007 John How Guitars X-GX - Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar

This is another beauty that we discovered at the Healdsburg Guitar Festival. Like the ladder braced guitar we recently had, this one has vintage styling but crafted here from Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce and X-Braced for more of that classic prewar tone. John How's Grand Concert is sized like a 000 guitar. We love the simple styling, the blank ebony headstock bound in Ivoroid to match the neck and body, the pyramid bridge and rope style trim. All classic details appropriate for a guitar with a voice that is clear and strong with snappy bass and powerful focus. This is a superb guitar for blues, rags, traditional music and much more.

Dream Guitars Player's Review:
"Working with John How we are able to offer you wonderful guitars with real vintage vibe and feel at a rare quality in the mid price range. I'm sure John won't be able to keep his prices this low for long so don't hesitate. The last How guitar we had sold within a week and this one is equally amazing. I love the punchy voice and great clarity. It begs to plays the blues and rags but it sound great for Celtic and traditional as well. There is a simple elegance thanks to the understated styling. We just love it." - Paul Heumiller

"This guitar feels like a prewar Martin. If you are looking for a great deal on a vintage small body guitar, check this new one out." - Al Petteway

Another Satisfied Dream Guitars Customer:
"I wanted the opportunity to thank you for everything. I've worked with [Dave listed half a dozen of the top shops in the country ... think of a name and it was probably on his list]. So far, you've been the best. Thanks again." - David L., Tennessee
