SOLD - 2008 National Reso-Phonic Style 1 Don - Resonator, Slide Guitar, Single Cone Resonator Acoustic Guitar

New for 2008, the Style 1 Don features many of the specifications of its 1934 counterpart. This the first National which uses authentic Nickel Silver (German Silver) as the material for the body. The double engraving pattern, ribbed sieve-hole coverplate, and the decorative "Don" engraved handstrap reproduce the look of the originals. This limited edition instrument is accompanied by an official letter of authenticity certifying it as one of one hundred instruments that will be built. This beauty was custom ordered for a lucky customer's 50th Birthday.

Dream Guitars Player's Review:
"Superb recreation of the 1934 National, the German Silver body really has more warmth and punch as Al stated. It's hard to believe a metal guitar can sound so open, but this one does, it's great!" - Paul Heumiller

"This guitar has that warmth and punch that you just don't hear very often in a metal bodied guitar. The solid nickel body must be the trick. " - Al Petteway

Another Satisfied Dream Guitars Customer:
"

Paul, Thanks so such for your hospitality, your patience, and especially your knowledge as you helped me find exactly the right guitar.  Your showroom is an amazing place, filled with one astonishing instrument after another.

I was having a blast, and then you handed me that one instrument whose quality astonished me most of all.  The tone was exquisite and the workmanship impeccable.  It was not possible not to buy this guitar, and I couldn't be happier.  I'll be recommending Dream Guitars to any person on a quest for their guitar of a lifetime.  Good luck, and keep up the good work!
