1999 Collings 000-2HK - 000 Acoustic Guitar
Some of the Collings from the 1990s have really impressed us in the past and here's another. This beautiful Koa bodied 000 is crafted from a set of the most stunning Koa, something that's becoming harder and harder to find these days. It's top with an extremely silky Sitka Top which lends overtones and warmth to the powerful Koa body. The result is a punchy and strong guitar with good color and complexity as well. A sweetheart of a Collings, mature but kept like-new by it's single owner.
