2008 Beneteau Nick Lucas - Dream Series #5 of 5, L-00 Acoustic Guitar
This is the last of our Limited Edition Nick Lucas model Dream Series from Marc Beneteau and it's a good one. The Gibson Nick Lucas design is famous for having that wonderful L-00 sound but with greater bass response and midrange growl thanks to the added body depth. Marc Beneteau's version is a wonderful blend of the old Gibson design along with Marc's wonderful clarity and makes our Dream Series Beneteau guitars even more versatile than their predecessors. This one features a wonderful set of old Brazilian Rosewood and an Adirondack top that combine for rich power. The tobacco burst fits beautifully with the hues in the back and sides and the bound fingerboard and headstock complete the package. This was an extremely popular Dream Series and this last one will send it off in style.

"I'm both proud at the success of this wonderful Dream Series from Marc Beneteau and also sad that this is the last one. This was a very limited edition of just 5 guitars based on Marc's superb Nick Lucas deep body L-00 design. Marc's unmistakable purity of tone and powerful projection are what motivated us to do this series and this particular guitar has those qualities in spades. It's the most alive and open of the series and it's 4 3/8" deep body give it a deep resonance and added bass. The set of Brazilian here is straight grained and gorgeous in color. The Adirondack top is perfect and uniform and draped in Marc's beautiful deep sunburst. Small details like the bound fingerboard and headstock really complete this elegant guitar and give it sophistication to go with it's attitude. The tone is perfectly suited for blues and rags but it has a very sweet side as well that lends itself to Celtic airs and modern melodic pieces.
