1990 Kohno Guitars Professional R - Concert Classical Classical Guitar

SOLD

Masura Kohno was considered the finest Japanese luthier of his day. Kohno guitars have long been heralded for their clear, brilliant tone, unending power and ease of play. The guitar world lost Masura Kohno in 1998 but his art lives on through his instruments like this beautiful 1990 Professional-R. This one is in excellent condition with a fully mature spruce top making it far better than new. It plays beautifully on the entire fingerboard with that beautiful Kohno articulation and power.

Player Reviews:

"I'm a long time fan of Kohno Guitars, they are synonymous with clear, articulate tone and powerful projection. This one is a gem, beautifully maintained in excellent condition and fully mature to the point that the Spruce is very alive. If you've wondered what mature Spruce sounds like, this is it. Here's a rare chance for a Kohno guitar made by the hands of Masura Kohno himself. " - Paul Heumiller

"This guitar is incredibly clear and bright with lots of power and presence. I'm blown away." - Al Petteway
