2002 Lehmann Guitars Eclipse - Gypsy Style Acoustic Guitar

SOLD

From Lehmann Guitars: "The Model Eclipse is patterned after the Selmer Petite Bouche model but with a 21st Century sound. It has remarkable sustain and is able to cut through bricks! The tone of the Model Eclipse is bright and clear, and the volume is guaranteed to please. The sound port opens up the sound of this guitar and lets you hear the instrument better too." We agree... this is a loud, bright guitar with a genuine 1930s attitude. Gypsy Jazz player extraordinaire Rolly Brown plays a Lehmann and makes it sing. This one is upgrade with Brazilian Rosewood and a gorgeous Adirondack top and outfitted with a pickup so it's ready for the stage.

Player Reviews:

"I've seen Rolly Brown play his Lehmann and the sound still lingers with me. It's tremendously exciting to hear Gypsy Jazz played well on the right instrument and this Lehmann Eclipse is the right instrument. It's far better than some of the common Selmer copy brands we see, this is a premiere hand built version of the Selmer with premium woods, including Brazilian Rosewood, and serious tone. This will be hard to beat for the Django deciple..." - Paul Heumiller

"Admittedly, I don't really play the Gypsy style, but this guitar has some serious character and authentic tone. It plays very easily and should accommodate those really fast licks without a problem. " - Al Petteway
