Stefan Sobell has been focusing primarily on building guitars for the last several years so his Cittern family instruments are becoming quite rare indeed. This beautiful Octave Mandolin features a 22.875" Scale and 4 courses. It is upgraded with Cocobolo Rosewood and an L.R. Baggs pickup system and it is in like-new condition, just perfect. Here's a chance to have a Sobell Octave Mandolin, quickly becoming a rarity.

2003 Sobell Octave Mandolin - Cittern, Octave Mandolin Mandolin Player Reviews

Player Reviews:

"I cannot get over the wonderful condition of this instrument. It's nearly unplayed and it's beautiful. Stefan loves Cocobolo and it give a richness that goes well with the power of this 4 course Octave Mandolin/Cittern. Stefan has not been making these for quite a while, so don't miss this opportunity." - Paul Heumiller

"I have one just like this at home and I love it. It's such a special instrument and perfect for adding just the right texture to a recording. I've used mine on lots of CDs and it is always welcome." - Al Petteway
