A custom made Fred Dickens classical using the very best woods, this guitar features a "V" joint to connect the head and neck. The Landsdorfer tuners were brand new in the box from the 1960's. It has a 14 kt gold dot 7th fret marker and a zero fret built into the nut. The rosette was inpired by Romanillos and was hand made by Fred. The guitar also incorporates an "X" bracing system for the back as a way of tensioning it to work in concert with the top. Fred Dickens, now deceased, was a physicist who made a number of experimental guitars using sound wave tests to determine instrument loudness and balance. This instrument achieved the loudness and balance he was seeking making it great for concert or recording use.

"This guitar has wonderful projection and superb clarity and articulation. It is strong but remains very expressive and musical at all times. The rosette is stunning. Fred Dickens designs were aimed at making a loud and strong guitar and this one is all that. The back is X braced and tuned to work along with the top for maximum tone. This is a special instrument and a wonderful legacy for the man, Fred Dickens." - Paul Heumiller
"This guitar has some of the most beautiful quarter sawn Brazilian Rosewood I've seen. The sound is clear and powerful." - Al Petteway
