2000 Buscarino Cabaret - Classical Crossover Classical Guitar

SOLD

We are thrilled to have located a rare preowned Buscarino Cabaret. This example from 2000 features a carved back of Indian Rosewood and a lattice braced Engelmann Spruce top. It also sports John's own Implant pickup system which makes consistently great sound as simple as plugging in. Here are some thoughts about the Cabaret model from the Buscarino Guitars Website: "THE CABARET is the perfect blend of traditional classical guitar and an acoustic archtop guitar. Specifically designed to meet the needs of the jazz or fingersytle player, the CABARET is based on the Herman Hauser I classical guitar design. The CABARET incorporates traditional classical building methods with modern innovations necessary for today's jazz and fingerstyle playing. The graceful cutaway facilitates greater access for playing the upper register of the fretboard. Its carved back, unique among nylon-string guitars, enhances the lower midrange while aiding in projection. The two-way adjustable truss rod gives easy access at the headstock for a perfect set-up." The previous owner of this guitar loved it and played it professionally so it shows some play wear, but it's been fully inspected by John and is solid and ready for another owner to puts some notes through it.

Player Reviews:

"John Buscarino's Cabaret design is one that has filled a true need in the music community. Players who prefer nylon strings for Jazz and Fingerstyle need a different instrument than the traditional classical guitar. The Cabaret offers more power, strength and it can handle normal or hard tension strings. The playability is superb on the slimmer neck and the cutaway grants access that will make the classical players jealous. The carved back maintains great focus and adds to the projection while the pickup makes gigging with a natural sound a piece of cake. This may not be the most pristine example of John's work but it does my heart good to see a well played guitar. It's obvious the previous owner loved it and used it night after night. There is still a lot of music in this one and the wear puts the price within reach of all of us players." - Paul Heumiller

"This is a very comfortable nylon string for the jazz or crossover player. Great tone and good looks." - Al Petteway
