1969 Ramirez Guitars 1a - Classical Guitar

SOLD

This is a classic piece of work from one of the legendary builder's finest periods. This Ramirez 1a Concert guitar has been lived in a little, but that's very definitely to your advantage. The tone is big and open, which is what we're all after, and playability is very good. It has had a recent setup and the action is very comfortable, lower than most we see from this period. Let the Fernando Sor rip on this one and you won't regret it!

Player Reviews:

"Ramirez fans know that the 1960s model were special guitars. This one is a great example, it's very alive and rich sounding. The recent setup was done well and this one plays like a new guitar. This is a guitar for the player who cares only about tone and wants the best." - Paul Heumiller

"As soon as you play the first note on this guitar, you can tell it's been played a lot. It's alive and powerful with all of the clarity and balance you would expect from a 1960's Ramirez." - Al Petteway

"This Ramirez sounds big and complex but without any ambiguity or muddiness. Very responsive. Good balance. She's been played in, but she still has a long way to go. This is a great example of the fine quality guitars Ramirez was building in the late 60s. " - Al Schlimm
