2002 Nickerson Guitars D-55 - Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

SOLD

Here's a very pretty dreadnought from Brad Nickerson featuring a rare Bearclaw top with 3 dimensional figure. Combined with a Brazilian Bridge, brown pickguard and double abalone rosette, the look is very unique and sublime. The voice is excellent for singer/songwriter and accompaniament work. This is a dread you don't have to hit hard to get a full voice. This is a ton of quality at a terrific price. Good woods, nice attention to detail, great for fingerstyle, strumming, or flat picking... how can you go wrong?

Player Reviews:

"I LOVE this top! I'm a sucker for lots of bearclaw, particularly when it's as symmetrical as this top is. It give the whole guitar a great character. This guitar is a great strumming, nice chimey top end and round bass. I can hear it on stage with any rhythm player or singer songwriter. Plus it would look way cool..." - Paul Heumiller

"I love the tone and playability of this dreadnought. It's got the perfect balance for any style flatpicking." - Al Petteway

"Wow, this is a very nice dread at a very attractive price. Power to spare, a punchy but very musical tone, great playability... I especially like the tone of the basses and mids here, and the trebles have a nice sweetness as well. It also holds up beautifully to a hard strum. " - Al Schlimm
