2007 Myka Guitars Dragonfly - Semi-Hollow Electric Electric Guitar
Once again David Myka creates a most amazing instrument... This time it is his Dragonfly model with all the fixins. For starters he takes Australian Lacewood and Claro Walnut and blends them perfectly with Amboyna Burl bridge, headplate and tuner veneers. Then he adds a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and Koa bindings from top to bottom. Now let's talk about the tonal components: Bartolini PBF55 and PBF57 pickups married with a Pickup-The-World (PUW) piezo in the bridge. He completes this tonal monster with controls that include separate 1/4" outputs for Mag or Piezo as well as a Piezo/Mag blend mini toggle, dedicated Piezo volume and Series/Parallel knobs for each of the Bartolinis. If you are seeking one stage guitar for acoustic and electric voices from clean to scream, this one can do it all.
