This is an amazing Whyte Laydie Tribute in exhibition grade from master luthier Walter Lipton and Bill Tippin. This joint project celebrates the amazing guitars of yesterday in exquisite detail. Custom etched inlay from Doug Unger adorn this beauty from head to toe. A stunning variety of materials were employed to make this one shimmer from every angle and the etching is so precise and full of detail. But besides being breathtaking the tone is monstrous. Big and lush and full as you would expect from Brazilian Rosewood and German Spruce. This Brazilian comes from the Martin Factory years ago and is the best stuff. The German top is Master Grade. This is a museum quality piece that is ultimately playable as well. A treasure.

New Lipton C 16 - OM Acoustic Guitar Player Reviews

Player Reviews:

"Simply exquisite, I love this guitar both for it's guilded beauty and it's lush voice. The Whyte Laydie motif is classic and timeless and Doug Unger took it to amazing heights in this guitar. The old woods at the hands of Walter Lipton and Bill Tippin show what masters with some 70 years experience between them can do. It's really an outsanding guitar in every way and a true modern collectible. " - Paul Heumiller

"This Martin styled guitar has a beautiful tone and incredible inlay and engraving with patterns inspired by the Fairbanks "Whyte Laydie" banjos if the early 20th century.
