The DS2HBaaaA model from Collings is a 12 fret Slope Shoulder Dread designed for maximum tone. The 12 fret neck allows the bridge to be positioned further down into the heart of the top where it can produce maximum energy in the top. You also getting a somewhat sweeter quality when you play gently. But this is a big guitar and it is happy to be hit hard and play loud as well. If you are after that 'complete' Brazilian/Adirondack voice, enjoy a wider neck and want all the tone, the Collings DS is for you and this is a great one.
