Michael Baranik builds exquisite instruments and this one is nothing short of spectacular. For starters there is the Macassar Ebony back and sides with figure unlike any we've seen before. It's very dramatic with dark lines and sections that look like feathers. Then there is a dark Cedar top with perfect grain. All of this is framed with Spalted Koa bindings, something you rarely see done on acoustics. Last but not least are Michael's special bevels in the cutaway bindings, a string-through bridge and custom wooden tuner buttons. The voice is also amazing, it's very loud and clear with depth from the Cedar and punch and clarity from the Ebony.

"I truly love this guitar and I mean both aesthetically and tonally. It has it all. I could stare at it for hours, the beauty of each piece of wood Michael Baranik selected are astonishing and the way in which they are paired is art. It plays like butter and the tone is rich and creamy as well. But the voice is also unique, Ebony, hard and dense, offers power and clarity and the Cedar top adds warmth and richness on top.
