Here is a very early JOMC from Dana featuring a picture perfect wide grain Sitka top and a wide fingerboard. There is nothing like a fully mature spruce top for power and clarity and this one is wide open. The JOMC design is one of the more versatile for players who like to mix dreadnought bass with singing trebles for fingerpicking or strumming.

"Here's a rare and remarkable early Dana Bourgeois guitar. This top is great, it's a very wide grained Sitka like Collings used to use a lot. You can hear it as soon as you begin to play, there is power and headroom galore and pristine clarity up and down the fingerboard. The board, by the way, is extra wide at 1 15/16" so it will thrill those of you comfortable on a classical or who just have big hands. The extra space is great for fingerstyle in general. The condition is superb making this one collectable as well as immensely playable." - Paul Heumiller
