2006 Bashkin Bellazza GC - Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar

SOLD

We've known Michael for a number of years and spent quite a bit of time with him this past summer at several events. He's a genuine person and his love of his craft is very evident. We are happy to have for you this beautiful Ebony GC. Two key features are the Adirondack top and the French Polish finish. The Adirondack top, with it's even grain, offers plentiful power and headroom while the French Polish finish allows every ounce of tone to come through. The Ebony body makes for a smooth midrange and wonderful sustain. To top it off Michael appointed this one with figured Koa and a gorgeous rosette.

Player Reviews:

"Al's excitement is well warranted, the voice of this guitar is superb. The Ebony/Adirondack combination is uniquely powerful, rich and complex. The playability of a Bashkin guitar is always excellent and this one is no exception. Every fret is clear and accurate. This is a wonderful guitar for the players seeking a different voice, beautifully dark and haunting, complex and articulate." - Paul Heumiller

"I've only played a few of Michael Bashkin's guitars and every one of them was an elegant masterpiece of beauty and tone. This one is no exception. The ebony back and side wood lends the guitar a darker tonal quality that is rich and complex. The top wood is some of the best I've ever seen. He uses hide glue throughout and French Polish for a beautiful finish. You can't go wrong with this guitar." - Al Petteway
