This is the first Redwood Top Bourgeois we've seen to date and it's wonderful. Straight-grained, stiff Redwood make a superb top that is at once rich and powerful. This top is exquisite, no surprise since Dana is regarded as an expert on tonewoods. We love the tortoise style trim, pyramid bridge and ebony buttons, it give an overall rich and classy facade. The voice offers a wide range of tones from punchy and crisp to warm and lush depending on your attach. A versatile and unique Bourgeois guitar for sure.

"Stiff, straight-grained Redwood tops like this are rare and offer up a unique and wondrous voice. If you've been searching for a different voice and a versatile one you need to listen to the clips on this one. The playability is superb and the lines are classic. I love the squared off cutaway, it keeps the OM lines nicely. I also like the tortoise bindings, they accent the dark back and the rich Redwood top beautifully." - Paul Heumiller
"This is the classic OM cutaway. It feels great and sounds great. The redwood top gives it an interesting quality that is warm and clear. And it sure is pretty." - Al Petteway
