2007 Collings OM3BaaaASB - OM Acoustic Guitar
Brazilian, Adirondack, Sunburst and Varnish Finish all in the level 3 trim package, this is one special Collings. Special first and foremost because Collings may no longer offer Brazilian Rosewood guitars. That fact alone makes this highly collectible as well as luscious sounding. This set of Brazilian is spectacular, it is very straight grained, very old and has desirable brick red hues. The Varnish finish lets all the tone come through and gives this sunburst OM a beautiful vintage patina that is readily apparent on the bindings which frame the body, neck and headstock. The sound is absolutely marvelous, strong and focused with wonderful OM balance and projection and a very prewar voice. We are delighted to offer one more chance for a Brazilian Collings...

"I can honestly say this is some of the nicest Brazilian you will see, very straight grained, brick red in color, gorgeous center section on the back, just stunning and tonally superb. Like Martin, Collings may no longer offer Brazilian so this one is very special. Brazilian Rosewood guitars are increasing faster than anything else in the guitar market and since Collings isn't making any more this should have a wonderful upside down the road. I'd much rather own this guitar than a mutual fund these days:) We've always loved the Collings sunburst and beneath the varnish finish it really glows. The varnish also give the bindings a lovely aged patina and certainly allows all the tone to come forth. This guitar is dead mint, like new, no flaws at all.
