This is simply one of the most sought after signature models that Martin has released to date: the Martin D-45SS Stephen Stills. The D-45SS boasts Alpine Spruce over premium Brazilian Rosewood, Stills’ signature inlaid at the fretboard extension, and the southern star inlaid at the pickguard. Elsewhere, this model is based on Stills’ 1939 Martin D-45, so here represented with the hexagonal 45 treatment along the fretboard, through-saddle belly bridge, and gold Waverly tuners. This one comes wrapped up in an upgraded, custom teal Calton flight case.

The Stephen Stills signature from Martin is one of the most successful signature series they have ever done. Every time we get one the phones are ringing off the hook. The reason is clear, just listen to the video and you'll understand.
Deliciously dark and sweet, as well as articulate. Each Stephen Stills signature has delighted me, and this #59 continues the primo trend. The Martin team went to great lengths to render this D-45SS as resonant and responsive as possible.
