Here’s a gorgeous Classical from Larry Brown’s shop: our 2015 copy of Segovia’s 1937 Hauser I, based on Jeff Elliot’s plans. Birdseye Maple back and sides that Larry found in Michigan, Western Red Cedar top and a Honduran Mahogany neck. French Polish, Schaller tuners, 650mm scale. This beauty is a featherweight at 3lbs 7oz, with a quick attack and projection.

Famed luthier Jeff Elliott took the time to painstakingly create plans from an actual 1937 Hauser guitar. Larry Brown, in turn, took the time to painstakingly create this guitar from those plans. So what we have here is a very authentic re-creation of a 1937 Hauser built with premium woods that are just exquisite, and the tone is sublime. This is a world-class guitar for any player, pro or lucky student.
