Description

Gerard Audirac began building his exciting classical guitar designs in 1976 from his shop in France. Nowadays they are played by the likes of Roland Dyens. The Cathedrale is powerful and dynamic, with stunning projection and clarity - no doubt contributed to by the large, elongated soundhole and special bracing. This is a guitar that can fill any hall. Composed of Indian Rosewood and Cedar, this Audirac has a 650 mm scale, and is 51 mm at the nut.

A superbly built instrument, this impressive Audirac Cathedrale has outstanding volume and projection. It's upper-mid frequencies are prominent, and add remarkable clarity and articulation to the tone. The design elements of the bracing, elongated soundhole and slight tilt of the top toward the nut makes it a very, very strong guitar.
